I bought this around December of last year at Second Street (a used clothing store). Since it's a used item, there isn't a strong smell, but there might be a slight odor. (I've used it about 2 or 3 times, so I don't think much of the smell remains ^^;) It's an XL, so it's a large size. You'll have plenty of room even if you wear a thick knit sweater underneath!
