This is my grandfather's antique collection. It appears to be a Red and White Plum Blossom tea bowl from Suigetsu Kiln, by Toyozo Arakawa. Unfortunately, the box was disposed of. He only collects authentic items, so I believe it is genuine. I believe it is a rare piece painted by Toyozo Arakawa, a Living National Treasure. There is the kiln mark "Tiger" of Suigetsu Kiln and Toyozo Arakawa's signature "Toe" on the side of the foot. There are some areas where the glaze seems to be missing. Please see the photos.
