The surface of the logo is a shell, set in matte silver. The shell's gray shimmers with an iridescent quality, depending on the light, making it very beautiful. Shell cufflinks are quite rare, so I believe these are a valuable find. I purchased them about 15 years ago at the Seibu Ikebukuro Main Store Hermes. There is no box or other packaging. Although they are matte silver, there is some dulling due to aging. I have not polished them to avoid scratches. Please consult Hermes for care instructions after purchase. I cherished these cufflinks, so I only wore them a few times. I ask that you understand that these are used items, and accept the signs of aging and any scratches from use.
