This is a Tsugaru-nuri tea chest. It has been stored closed, so there are scratches and dullness on the bottom and lid. (See photos 11-16) There is no original box, so it will be shipped in a different box. Although it is unused, please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to items stored at home.
