I received this from my mother about 20 years ago at Mikimoto in Takashimaya, Yokohama. Unfortunately, I no longer have the Mikimoto box or certificate, and there is no logo on the item itself. However, the engraving "JKa585" and "K14" suggest it is 14K gold. Those familiar with jewelry or professionals would likely recognize it as genuine pearls, but since there is no proof of it being Mikimoto, I am listing it as a non-branded item. I don't remember the price, but I believe it was between 100,000 and 200,000 yen at the time. I have difficulty fastening clasps at the back of my neck, so I mostly use inexpensive magnetic clasp faux pearl necklaces these days. Therefore, I am selling this one. I've only worn it a handful of times, such as for weddings. There are no major scratches or damage, but it is old, so there may be some slight fraying of the thread. Please understand this. The pearl size is probably the smaller size, even for Mikimoto. I remember my mother and the shop staff consulted together to choose a modest size for me, as I don't like large pearls.
