This is a Kyusu teapot from Unzen, famous for Tokoname-yaki pottery. The body features a chicken pattern, and the lid's knob is also designed as a chicken. It is said that the iron oxide contained in Tokoname clay mellows the bitterness and astringency of tannins, and the unglazed, fine irregularities of the earthenware absorb impurities, resulting in delicious tea. ☆There is writing on the box in marker.
