Mahalo Ukulele Soprano UK-20 I believe this is an older model, as it doesn't appear in the current lineup when I search by model number. From the look of it, the top appears to be spruce and the body rosewood. I can't say for sure because there's no information, but the back has a nice wood grain, and the sound is good, so I suspect it's likely solid wood. The sound is clear and mellow, typical of spruce and rosewood. Although it's a beginner-oriented brand, it's also good as a base for advanced players to customize. While the string height setup and pitch aren't as good as a high-end ukulele, I think it's a good buy for this price. The spruce top also has a pretty nice grain. I got it used, and I haven't played it much myself. The strings have been replaced with the now-rare Hiro strings. It's used, so there are minor scratches, etc. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. *Please refrain from price reductions due to high shipping costs.* It comes with a bird case, but please consider the case as a bonus.
