It was not left attached to the bike, but was only attached when needed, so it is relatively clean, but there are some minor scratches. There are no signs of fraying. The basket was also purchased new and attached as needed. There is some dullness due to the nature of the material. Neither the bag nor the basket has been used in the rain.
