Photo by Rafael Rashid ~In 2005, photographer Rafael Rashid was working on a book of hip-hop home studios, and took photos of J Dilla at work in Los Angeles. Unbeknownst to most at the time, J Dilla was in and out of the hospital all year dealing with worsening health issues. Rafael came to take these photos during a short summer period when Dilla was working on "Shining" at home and seemed to be doing well. This photo, along with others, was later included in his book "Behind the Beat."~ The product will be shipped in a poster tube, with measures taken to prevent water damage and reinforce the edges, via Mercari delivery (100 size, 1,050 yen). Shipping is free. As this is a paper product, there may be some slight creasing due to being rolled up, or wrinkles that are visible depending on the angle.
