This is an early model C-1 vest from the US military. The right pocket, as viewed from the front, has likely been customized with different fabric. This piece has overall soiling and damage. Personally, I'm quite particular about the condition of vintage clothing, but I actually prefer this one with its level of wear and tear. I've been using it with affection.
