This is a USB-connected Blu-ray drive. It's a modified drive where the DVD drive inside a Buffalo enclosure has been replaced with a BD-RE drive. The BD-RE drive used is a Panasonic UJ-240. The only included accessory is the USB connection cable (with auxiliary power). It supports USB bus power, so power is generally not required, but if the power supply is insufficient even with the auxiliary power (e.g., with a tablet PC), a separate power supply may be needed. Reading of BD, DVD, and CD has been confirmed on Windows 11. Writing should also be possible, but it hasn't been confirmed due to lack of media.
