It was made in the 1970s. *This is not made of silver 925. The wide ivory-colored base features shimmering, iridescent abalone shell (awabi shell) arranged in leaf shapes, and the center showcases a large, blooming flower made of softly colored pink shell, using the traditional Mexican inlay technique. This vintage bangle has a primitive and lovely feel, with a simple yet charming and bold design. The back is properly stamped with "ALPACA MEXICO." Alpaca is a colorless "stainless steel alloy" that does not contain silver, and many jewelry pieces in Latin America are made from this alpaca alloy. ALPACA is an alloy containing copper, nickel, zinc, iron, etc., not silver.
