The seams are on the outside, and the fabric stretches well, making it seem very comfortable. My baby seemed to like it. I used these from newborn to 6 months. Button-front undershirts are really convenient for checkups and vaccinations, as they are easy to take off. The leg openings stretch well, and I liked these better than Uniqlo undershirts (because my daughter didn't seem uncomfortable). I couldn't find any major stains or damage, but please understand that these are used items with some wear and tear.
