This is a 1970s Stratocaster, a model called the "Country Gentleman" from Oakland. Oakland was a guitar brand once operated by Kiso Suzuki Violin. It's mostly original, but as it's a very old guitar, it was completely disassembled for maintenance. Rusty and unusable screws were replaced, and the replacement screws were given a matte finish to make them less noticeable (pickguard and back panel). The circuit is original, but the wiring has been tidied up. Removable rust on metal parts has been removed as much as possible. The neck is almost straight. The 2nd and 3rd string tuning pegs are a little stiff. The nut was worn, so it has been replaced with a new bone nut. The frets are about 60-70% remaining. There are some minor scratches and scuffs, but overall it's in good condition considering its age. Also, the wood is of good quality, so it resonates beautifully. And the body color is indescribably beautiful. I was hesitant to list it, but I'm releasing it from my collection. For the listing, I polished the frets and the fingerboard with lemon oil. I've also polished various parts. I've adjusted it to make it easy to play, but string height, etc., is a matter of personal preference, so please readjust it yourself. There is no scratchiness in the volume pot, etc. The strings have been replaced with new ones (10-46). An aftermarket tremolo arm is included. The semi-hard case in the pictures is for photography purposes and is not included, so please be aware of this. It will be carefully packed and shipped in a cardboard box.
