The MIL spec is "MIL-J-6278" and the Drawing number is "No, 51B3556". The color is Air Force Blue, a unique color specific to the N-2A. There is a purplish discoloration on the back, sleeves, and hood. This is a characteristic of the Air Force Blue nylon. The hood uses seal fur. As this is an authentic N-2A, there are some stains and scratches, but they add to the overall character. There is rust on the zipper. There are small holes in the knit parts. The button loops on the front are stiff, and the buttons cannot be fastened. The front zipper is not smooth, but it does move.
