This is a case-only listing. When the charger is connected, the light comes on as shown in image 1, so it doesn't seem to be broken. However, since there are no earphones, I haven't been able to confirm if it actually charges, so please be aware of this. The exterior shows many scratches and scuffs overall, and some of the text on the bottom is missing, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about this.
