This is a bamboo flower vase made by my father, who enjoys antiques and tea, and whose hobby led him to create it himself. The bottom is cut at an angle, so it doesn't stand on its own and is meant to be hung on a pillar or similar. He taught ikebana when he was younger, and being a meticulous person, he has finished the cut edges straight and neatly. He also makes tea scoops and, although he is an amateur, he has even held a solo exhibition. It is unused, but being a natural material, there are some stains, spots, and minor scratches as part of its character. The "otoshi" (water container) inside seems to be made to a near-perfect fit and does not come out. Please be aware of this.
