Selected in late October at a musical instrument store in Tokyo Chosen from among several selected items. I'm usually a BD4 user, and I thought it would be nice to get along with the 5, so I chose from the selected items. Among the 5s I've had the chance to play, this is one of the top 3 easiest to play. The intonation doesn't sag (when the reed matches), and it has a round, well-balanced, and dense tone. I think it's a good piece, but the BD4 still seems to suit me better, so I'm letting it go.
