French Army Alpine Smock Size 42, approximately XL 1950s-60s Used by the French Army's mountain troops, apparently in Algeria and other locations. This is the long-length type. It has many pleats on the sleeves, and the khaki color leans towards a subdued earth tone. The fabric is plain-woven cotton, which feels good against the skin and has a unique texture. You can change the silhouette depending on your mood with the drawcord at the hem. The drawcord at the waist is missing. There are no noticeable stains, but there are repair marks on the lower right front pocket and the lower left back. There are scuffs and small holes typical of vintage clothing, but they add to the atmosphere and can be appreciated as character. There are no problems with wear.
