This is a set of Echizen lacquerware baby's first meal (okuizome) dishes, received from the shrine during the Omiyamairi (shrine visit after birth). The set includes a tray, dishes, and chopsticks. We didn't use it because we had the okuizome ceremony at a restaurant, so it has been stored unopened in its box. I opened the box lid once to take the photos in image 1, but I haven't opened the paper wrapping the dishes. How about using these lovely lacquerware dishes for your child's okuizome ceremony?
