This is a vibrant red wool hanhaba obi (half-width belt). The photos may appear slightly orange, but the color is red. It's close to the color in image 7, which is labeled "red." I've worn it 2-3 times and had it dry cleaned, then stored it at home. There are some slight pulls, but I believe this is part of the original texture of the obi. It has a raw-edge finish, which gives it a stylish look. Image 6 shows the thread on the back of the tag. It's a single-layer construction, but it's moderately stiff and has some friction, so it stays tied well, which I liked.
