This is a tea-ger (a decorative cloth for a sanshin) made from bashofu (banana fiber cloth) woven in Ogimi Village. It is a one-of-a-kind item. They no longer make this pattern. I purchased it, but I'm selling it because I'm reducing the number of my sanshin and don't have anything to attach it to for the time being. It is unused, so the hole for the saruo (the part that attaches to the neck of the sanshin) has not been made. If you are able to do the work yourself, please consider purchasing it.
