This item was given to me by a family member who was affiliated with the U.S. military, so there is some soiling. A vinyl sheet is attached to the inside, providing waterproofing. Approximate size: 40cm x 30cm x 19cm This is a rare item, adopted by the U.S. Army in 1945 and manufactured in the 1950s. It was designed to be connected to the bottom of a combat field pack (see photo 7), but it has a handle on top, allowing it to be used as a standalone bag. It has a waterproof cover inside, making it difficult for the contents to get wet.
