Thank you for viewing. This is a teacup I purchased at an antique market. I liked the dragon in relief, so I brought it home. The head and hands are in relief, giving it a powerful presence. The beard extends from the head in intaglio, creating a sense of flow. The glaze enhances the atmosphere. Also, there are fine crackles, which make it even more rugged, like thunderclouds. The flow of the glaze inside the cup is also beautiful. There don't seem to be any major noticeable scratches. There don't seem to be any problems with the relief carving, other than kiln marks. There may be leaks, so please take a close look at the images. The green color visible on the right side of the item is a reflection of the aquatic plants in the adjacent aquarium.
