The base boost circuit was born from research into the harmonic components of vintage amplifiers. One of the charms of vintage instruments is their rich and brilliant harmonics. To unravel the secret of pleasant harmonics that do not feel harsh to the ear, we conducted various experiments and verifications, and a boost circuit rich in harmonics was completed. Furthermore, the limited edition CRUNCHY CHIME uses carefully selected parts to achieve the best tone. You will feel the vibrations of the strings more, and the sound of your guitar or bass will come alive. The characteristics of amplifiers vary depending on the product, and problems may occur, such as "the low frequencies become muddy when the booster is turned ON." During development, the rich harmonics sometimes became muddy depending on the amplifier used, or unnecessary harmonic components emphasized each other, resulting in an unpleasant sound. To get closer to the ideal sound, we wanted to adjust the frequency characteristics to match those devices. The newly designed equalizer for this purpose boots and cuts, and the sound is so natural that you don't feel like you're using an equalizer even when adjusting the tone.
