This is an offering for the Yamaha FG-580 green label, the successor to the Yamaha FG500 red label. I've handled five of these models so far, and I believe this one is in the best preserved condition. Top: Spruce solid wood. Sides: Honduran Rosewood. Back: Honduran Rosewood solid wood. Neck: African Mahogany. Fingerboard and Bridge: Ebony. While Jacaranda is also good, the low tones of Honduran Rosewood are amazing. The brilliance and sweetness of the mid-low range is, in my subjective opinion, even better than Jacaranda. Honduran Rosewood is now only used in models costing over 300,000 yen... and solid wood versions are in a completely different price range. There should be no problems with the current condition.
