This is a non-sale briefcase that Shiseido made in collaboration with Kenzo a long time ago (around the 70s and 80s?). This is from the era of Kenzo Takada, not the recent years when NIGO directed Kenzo Paris. I think it's a very archival item. The texture and color of the kasuri-like fabric and the stripes, which look like an Ivy League regimental pattern, are a clever design. The loop that secures the toggle and the edges of the bag are reinforced with genuine leather, and the fasteners are carved from wood. Vinyl is applied to the back to prevent deformation. Apart from a small white stain on the front flap, there are no noticeable stains, damage, or deterioration of the leather or vinyl, making it a very beautiful item. The original paper flasher from the time is also included. I'll put it in the zippered pocket of the bag.
