It's a 10-ply construction with ash wood for the outer, center, and inner layers, sandwiched by maple. The bearing edges are 45 degrees. There are scratches on the lugs and hoops from use. The heads are not original on both sides. Tuning is smooth, from high to low. It is no longer in production. The color is matte black with silver hairline paint along the wood grain, resulting in a very beautiful finish. The hardware is also matte silver, so you don't have to worry about fingerprints, and it has an attractive, elaborate construction. The hoops are 2.3mm inward-rolled, providing excellent playability and ease of use. The snares are also a special hybrid of high-carbon steel and brass. Made in Taiwan, but very carefully crafted.
