This wooden kneading bowl was made by a Kiso wood craftsman, carved from a single piece of wood. The rim is about 2cm thick, making it a sturdy construction. This was a gift purchased from Fukuya Department Store for a housewarming. It has been stored in my parents' china cabinet. It has been used a few times and then stored. The photos tend to make it look white, but the actual color is closer to the natural wood grain. I have heard that this size is rare. There are no cracks.
