This is an old aizome (indigo-dyed) cotton hanten (a type of Japanese coat). It has a patchwork design. It's made of old fabric with a nice texture. I believe the indigo plain side is the front. There is some wear and discoloration. It has a good atmosphere, suitable for boro (patchwork) remaking materials or for wearing as is.
