Materials: silk (habutae) - repurposed from kimono lining; linen (mosquito netting) - repurposed; cotton (broadcloth, etc.) The thickness of the dyed fabric varies from thin to thick. These are valuable scraps, perfect for making bags and pouches when combined with Japanese fabrics, or as weft threads for saori weaving, creating bags and tapestries with a deep persimmon tannin dye.
