Until now, it was available at a low price, but it seems that Padauk has been affected by CITES, so the price may increase in the future... It has a vivid vermilion color that catches the eye, but it also ages quickly, changing from vermilion to reddish-brown to a brick color, gradually becoming darker. It has a unique, sweet aroma that is many times stronger than that of other woods. The size is 140mm in total length, with a maximum shaft diameter of approximately 12.5mm and a weight of approximately 19g. The pen mechanism is a single-action type without a guide pipe, and the lead is HB. The metal fittings in the image are for photography purposes and may be bent or not properly inserted, but we will ship with new metal fittings.
