There is no grinding feeling, and I personally think the operation is good. I don't think there are any problems with the bail dropping or scratches on the spool edge. I am selling it because I have fewer opportunities to go fishing. For an additional 1000 yen, I can change it to the Gomexus 35mm round knob shown in photo 11.
