Denis Wick Heavy Top Model 1 Silver-plated, with some signs of use, but generally in good condition. The size is similar to a Bach 1C, but with a V-shaped cup that isn't too tight. It offers a thick tone and a good edge, creating a very balanced sound. I usually use a Bach 1-1/2C, but this mouthpiece, despite being larger, felt comfortable to play and I would switch to it when I needed a bigger sound. It has a heavy-type appearance, like a Monette LT. The design is very modern and excellent, and I liked the balance and resistance when attached to the instrument. Denis Wick mouthpieces, as used by Roy Hargrove in his younger years, are excellent for their balanced tone, suitable not only for wind bands and classical music, but also for jazz combos and solos. I loved it very much, but I don't have many opportunities to use it, so I'm putting it up for sale.
