I've used it about twice for ajillo, and it's clean with no signs of wear. It comes with a dedicated wooden stand. There's a groove-like part on the front side of the wooden stand (image 4). It didn't affect the use. It's a small skillet, so it might be a good companion for a campsite, or you could make ajillo at home, or even just cook sausages and eggs and serve them directly on the table.
