This is a one-piece dress with a panel change in the American sleeve falda section. The floral fabric was sourced from Spain. It has been well-received for its slimming effect and for making the wearer appear taller. (The photos aren't great, but I've also included a photo of just the fabric.) The hem of the falda is finished with bias tape. This is handmade, but it was made at a dressmaking class I attend. I worked with the teacher from pattern making to the actual sewing. The stand collar at the back has a snap closure instead of a hook closure because I didn't want it to come undone (photo 4). The floral fabric is probably cotton, I believe. It was imported from Spain. The lower part is made of smooth fabric, which is often used for flamenco practice skirts. It's slightly see-through, so it's recommended to wear a petticoat on stage. **Photos of the dress being worn are included.
