This item is approximately 44 years old. It was made by Kyoto Tamura Shogundo, a long-established company in Kyoto. I kept it carefully, thinking my child might use it... but they grew up without ever using it. Over 40 years ago, it was expensive, with the cards protected by washi paper. Upon a quick inspection, the cards themselves are in fairly good condition, without any severe stains. Only one card has a small piece of washi paper peeling off. The included red book has a name written in it, which will be blacked out before shipping. Please let me know if you don't need it. Please be aware that there are circles marked on the book next to the verses that were memorized. The box is old and has some tears, which have been reinforced with masking tape. *If you don't need the box, I can ship it via Yu-Packet Post and offer a 400 yen discount.
