The color is a brown shade, like a mix of dark camel and brown, about halfway between the two. I am also selling this item in different colors. I tried wearing these a few times, intending to show off my socks, but as someone who gets cold easily, it felt too cold, so I only wore them once or twice. They taper towards the hem. The fabric is very soft, though it doesn't stretch that much. The back has elastic, so it's labeled as free size, but it's not that big, and I think it's suitable for someone around a size M.
