I purchased this last fall, and my middle school son was using it, but he's retiring from the sport, so I'm putting it up for sale. It's a TECH ACE, where the entire bat is the sweet spot (the part where the ball travels further when hit). Other high-performance bats only have the sweet spot at the tip, but this bat is covered with a material that allows the ball to fly even when hit near the base. The team recommended the Legacy, which is known for its distance, but my son had a tendency to over-rotate his head, and the Legacy was too light, resulting in many missed hits. So, I bought this bat for him, and his missed hits decreased significantly. Of course, it's a "flying bat," so if you hit it properly, you can easily get a fence-over hit. It was used for about six months in actual play, just for games and practice, so there are no major scratches or tears. It hasn't been used in a batting center, so there are no dents visible from the outside. There are some scratches on the grip end from use on the ground, as shown in the photos. The photos were taken today. It will be stored indoors from now on. The grip tape was recently replaced, so it's relatively clean, but please understand that it is still a used item.
