This is a signature drive pedal for Billy Sheehan (MR. BIG etc.). It recreates Billy's signal chain in a single effector, mixing drive and clean sounds. It has a higher gain than the original and also includes a boost switch. It is now suitable for bassists seeking a more aggressive sound. With its simple operation, this pedal provides rich overtones and a fine-grained Billy Sheehan-style distortion. The design emphasizes versatility compared to the normal (purple) version. For this reason, the IC (op-amp), which is the core of the pedal, is also replaceable, allowing you to create your own original sound. It has stronger distortion than the purple version, and the boost function can further enhance the distortion. (The boost range can be adjusted with an internal trimmer.) The sound's outline is less likely to blur because it blends the distorted sound with the original sound. The biggest feature is that you can connect other effectors to the distortion and clean sounds for functional expansion.
