This is a very impressive antique spiny lobster ornament. The artist's name is unknown. The material is likely copper, but it's not certain as there are no markings on the box or elsewhere. Please refer to the images for your assessment. The fifth image shows a scratch that looks like the kanji character for "eight" (八). In the sixth and seventh images, a white powder-like substance can be seen near the base of the legs. The eighth image shows a small scratch. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about these imperfections. The body alone is about 30 centimeters long. I received this from an acquaintance, but I no longer need it, so I would like to sell it. Price reduced.
