These are Churchill soup plates, made in England. A set of two. I saw these on display at a department store in Milan, but I didn't buy them at the time. When I went from Milan to Paris, I found them at a shop on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and purchased them. I don't know if they still sell them there, but back then, on Saint-Honoré, a street known for luxury brands, there was a regular shop that carried various tableware. This was about 40 years ago. They might have been sold in Tokyo as well. I like grape leaves, so I thought these could be used in various ways, as soup plates or for small portions of spaghetti or curry. They were about 3,000 yen each. Diameter: 22.5 cm, measured by hand. In the past, I always prepared seven plates in case they broke or chipped, but I didn't end up using them much. I don't need that many anymore, so I'd like to offer these beautiful plates to someone. For those who love the grape leaf motif~~
