This is a fully functional Hasselblad H4D-60 digital back for sale. This H-60 series is equipped with a 60-megapixel CCD sensor with an aspect ratio of 645 full-frame, and there are only a few of these in Japan. The 60-megapixel CCD made by Dalsa has colors that are closer to the real thing and significantly reduced noise compared to the 40 and 50-megapixel sensors made by Kodak. However, the strong contrast and rich color of the CCD remain, making it a unique sensor not found in current CMOS sensors. It has the same specifications as Phase One's IQ160 and 260 but can be used with almost all Hasselblad H mounts. The H series bodies and backs are generally restricted to use with the same model, but this restriction has been internally removed. I have confirmed that it works with H4D, H4X, and H5D bodies. (H3D is unconfirmed but will probably start. H1 and H2, and H6 are unconfirmed. H5X does not work.) In the photos, it is shown running with my H5D. While the Phase One IQ series is often considered good, it is very difficult to obtain an H-X series. Using it with your existing H body is probably the best option. Compared to Phase One, Hasselblad has significantly better lens performance, and the True Focus feature from the H4D onwards is also excellent. The Capture One development software is quite expensive at over 20,000 yen per year, so the ability to use Hasselblad's proprietary free development software, Phocus, is also a strength of the H back. Tethering is also possible using FireWire. In any case, the 60 back is quite rare. I have only seen the H4D-60 and H5D-60 a few times other than my own. There was a listing on eBay for 2 million yen with a body. This is more expensive than the used price of the 100-megapixel H6D-100. If you have an H body and like the color of the CCD and are not satisfied with the 4433 sensor of the 40 series, how about it? Hasselblad sent it for overhaul just before they withdrew from Japan, and I have used it infrequently since I purchased another back. The H5D body in the photos is not included. The sensor cover is not included, but it will be packed with cardboard, etc.
