I had my child wear this at home for Christmas twice, the year before last and last year. I'm selling it because my child has outgrown it. There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but when I washed it, some of the red color slightly transferred to the white fluffy parts, making it appear slightly pinkish white depending on the lighting. If you are concerned about this, you may want to refrain from purchasing. It's not noticeable in the photos. It fastens with buttons, not Velcro. My child wore it by putting it over their head, so I didn't unbutton it. Please let me know in the comments if you have any questions.
