This is a self-made distortion pedal based on the layout of the EarthQuaker Devices Acapulco Gold, which was published online as a hobby several years ago. The parts are all currently available for purchase. Regarding the sound, I don't own the original, so I can't compare, but my personal impression is that it has good volume and can produce distortion sounds ranging from crunch to heavy distortion. Please refer to the photos for the knobs. The circuit is point-to-point wiring and true bypass. It cannot be battery-powered. Please use a 9V center-negative adapter. ★Please note that it will not work with a center-positive adapter. The enclosure is aluminum die-cast. The paint has unevenness and peeling. The sticker on the surface can be easily removed. Again, this is a hobby project, so I cannot guarantee the sound quality or operation.
