I found this while cleaning out my parents' house. It's a lacquered jubako (tiered food box). The outer box is damaged, but the main body has no noticeable stains and I think it's in pretty good condition. It's a three-tiered jubako with sides of 6.5 sun (approximately 19.7 cm). It's Aizu-nuri (lacquerware from Aizu) and has beautiful maki-e (sprinkled picture) decoration.
