This is a listing for a HERCULES double bass stand. It can be easily folded. I purchased this stand on this site last October and used it for about a year, but I own several similar stands, so I'm selling this one to organize my collection. According to the manufacturer, the stand is made of steel, but the parts that touch the instrument use Special Formulated Foam (SFF) to protect the instrument's finish from chemical reaction damage, so there's no need to worry about damaging the instrument. As you can see in the photos, the stand has a considerable angle to securely hold the instrument, providing excellent stability. However, compared to similar upright stands, it requires a bit more space for setup. *Since I am using it outside of my home, shipping will be after November 26th (Tuesday).
