This ring was purchased quite a while ago. I recently had it appraised by the Central Gem Laboratory. It's a Brazilian Paraíba tourmaline, weighing 0.615ct. The setting is platinum 900, and the side diamonds total 0.29ct. The ratio of copper to manganese is an ideal 2:1, resulting in a beautiful, almost green-free, light blue color. It's not a deep blue, but a refreshing, clear light blue with good color saturation and a nice neon effect, making it a high-quality Paraíba tourmaline. However, there is a minor flaw. There is a small chip on the edge of the table. Since Paraíba tourmalines often have inclusions or imperfections, it's unclear whether this chip was present from the beginning or occurred later. I can't see it with the naked eye, but I found it while examining it from various angles with a 10x loupe. You can see it in the 11th photo. This ring would be a good choice for those who prefer light blue Paraíba tourmalines over greenish ones. The melee diamonds sparkle beautifully in person, but they appear almost invisible in the photos, perhaps because they are colorless and transparent. Please be aware that there are inclusions and minor scratches typical of Brazilian Paraíba tourmalines. The ring size is approximately 11. I do not offer resizing services, so please arrange for this yourself if needed. Thank you. To prevent any potential switching of items, returns and exchanges are not accepted.
