It's very well made as a beginner's set for children who can actually play, and the sound of the amplifier, including distortion, is just right for beginners. (By the way, my daughter loved it because it looked like the guitar Minnie Mouse uses in the Disney DVD, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse's "Pop Star Minnie.")
