These are Akoya baroque pearls, approximately 0.7 x 1.1 cm in size. Akoya pearls have layers of nacre, creating a beauty that cannot be replicated by fake pearls. The highest quality pearls [those without blemishes and with perfect shapes] are sold to wholesalers and become very expensive products from well-known manufacturers. I've acquired pearls with slight imperfections, such as minor scratches or dents, but with a wonderful luster, and created products that can be worn daily.
